Snug Fit, Protective, But Not Silicone

The MiniSuit is NOT silicone but flexible plastic. It has a somewhat rubbery texture that feels very much like the back of the Kindle HD. It's more like a semi-hard case, and less like a skin. The misleading product label notwithstanding, this case does provide the back and sides of the Kindle HD with fairly good protection.

Once the skin goes on the Kindle, it stays on securely.

The skin protects the back of the kindle from scratches, dirt, and unsightly smudges you fingers can leave behind.
- Slim
The case adds very little bulk or weight to the Kindle, so the Kindle handles very much like it doesn't have a case on.
- Accurate Cutouts
The cutouts for the speakers, headphone jack, power button, and power port are all accurately positioned.

- Not Easy To Get It On Or Off
I had to wrestle with it a bit to get it on the Kindle. The inner edges of the case are sharp, so I was worried that they might scratch the Kindle while I was trying to get the case on the Kindle. (It's much easier to get the case off the Kindle however.)
- Partially Obstructed Power Port
The power port is partially obstructed but accessible. However, the USB plug leaves a noticeable depression on the side of the case.
- Interior Not Lined
I would have loved it if the interior of the case has a soft lining like my Marware case does.

The Bottom Line: Despite its shortcomings, the MiniSuit will provide fairly good protection for the back and sides of your Kindle. Recommended if you're looking for a slim and semi-hard case for your Kindle HD.

Fits Perfectly on Fire HD 7

This cover fits perfectly on the Fire HD 7. It does not feel stretchy like it would lose its shape. It fits firmly, all the cutouts are perfect, and now I can easily find the power on/off button.

Fits the Kindle Fire HD like a glove!

Covers the back only. All the cut outs are in the proper places. Nice & slim not bulky. However, in the ad description it says the word MiniSuit should be on the back bottom & beware of fakes, my case came with no word at all. Confused!
