Better than expected

I bought this chair because I hated to use the handle on the side of my old recliner. Also you could see the metal under neat the chair. I had to hand push it down or up for the back of the chair. This recliner cost less than my previous chair, which I hated and after 3 years donated to a charity. It came to my home within 3 days, UPS brought inside the room and even helped me unpack it, there was nothing to assemble. It is so wonderful made with memory foam, not bulky and huge, the electric motor works beautiful. It makes in to a bed, it goes down so far, you can do any position and height. You can see no metal when your feet are up. Material is high quality, easy to clean. Now my husband took this chair, he loves laying in it and make a nap. I have to get me another one, because he used to sit on our sofa. Everyone who visits sets in the chair to try it. I tell them where I bought it. None of us every seen such a quality chair for the money. The stores also want 75 delivery fee. I looked at all the chairs on Amazon and I would recommend this one to anyone, but if a person id very huge, you have to buy a different size. My husband and I are average 5'7 and 5'9 my husband weights 170.00 and my neighbor 250 and he fitted in the chair. Also the chair looks 10 times more beautiful than the picture.

Not a Good Value for Price

This chair is made in America by American Furniture Manufacturing (americanfurn.net) but using low quality materials you would expect from China. The power mechanism looked to be of high quality, but the rest of the chair was framed using OSB and plywood instead of solid wood like you get from industry leaders like Best, Southern Motion, and others. Fabric is substandard for this price point. Packaging also inadequate. UPS delivered with broken frame, apparently from a hard drop, shipping on side, and/or stacking too much weight on the thin cardboard box. Quality of this chair is comparable to those low end chairs you can find for under $300, well below this chairs $425 price tag.

Very comfortable chair!

I love this chair. I bought it for my 89 year old mother and when I visit I want to make her sit on the couch while I sit in the chair. It's is comfortable, looks very nice with her living room furniture, easy to use, and small enough that it doesn't take up extra room at all. It can also be placed close to the wall since reclining it doesn't move the back far enough to touch the wall. A great buy!
